Single Handers
3x RS Tera, 8x Topper, 6x Laser Pico
Double Handers
3x Argo’s 2x Laser 2000, 1x RS Vision and 3x RS Feva standard and XL race.
Buoyancy aids and helmets are available to borrow for members whilst taking part in club courses.
Youth Sailing
The club is an accredited RYA OnBoard training centre, offering youth sailing programs to promote activities in a safe, structured and fun environment.
Youth sessions run on Saturdays from May and are open to all members aged between 8 and 17. For children to sail at the club, they must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult who must also be a member.
RYA-qualified instructors run these sessions and will cover everything from basic sailing and understanding of weather and tidal conditions to race training. Teaching is tailored to the capabilities of the attending children, with all abilities catered for. We have club boats available, but boat ownership is encouraged, and we have growing fleets of both Toppers and RS Fevas.
There is a small charge of £37 for each cadet (£30 if you are using your own boat), which will cover the cost of all training sessions, an RYA training log book, and, of course, use of the club's boats for the On-Board sessions. A sibling discount will be applied, reducing the cost to £32 for second and subsequent children.

Some helpful information about training sessions:
Sailing is a physical activity; you need to be able to swim at least 25 metres and be confident in the water. You will need a good fitness level as we operate from a shingle beach, which can sometimes be steep. If you have any concerns about this, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
It's fun;
We want to encourage you to use all the club facilities and develop your sailing ability;
All of our activities are, of course, weather permitting. If the weather makes sailing unsuitable on any specific day, we often arrange alternative shore-based activities
