Our Club History

The club has been established over 50 years, run on an entirely voluntary basis by members who have over the years built up the club’s facilities. Over the years a variety of successful open, national and world ranking events have been managed and the club’s facilities and race management are highly regarded. Amongst it’s members the club includes national champions, Olympic team sailors and aspiring sailors of all ages. Equally, some club members are just happy to come and sail as often as they can and enjoy their sailing whether in good hearted club races or ‘just pottering’ on the water. PBSC caters for sailors of all levels and aspirations and welcomes new members
