Thursday night sailing to restart Thurs 11 June

Good news, the sailing school has decided to commence with some ‘Improvers’ sessions on Thursday evenings from 6pm.
You will need to be able to sail to level 2 ability in your own boats, and there will be a small size safety boat with an instructor on the water with informal coaching taking place as required.  Please be aware that the Senior Instructor on the day will need to make the final decision on numbers whilst considering the conditions.

It would help for you to bring your own face mask and gloves in case these are required in the event of an emergency. Anyone assisting in launch and recovery must wear this equipment in case a safe distance cannot be maintained.  The current guidance is to observe a 2 metre social distance.

The only Club facility available will be the disabled toilet in the Clubhouse, all other areas are closed. There will be hand sanitizer at the front door, which should be used before and after entering the building and using the facilities and there will be wipes available for you to clean anything that you have touched. Only one person at a time will be allowed in the building to use the cloakroom.  It will not bepossible to use the changing rooms.

Please check and re-check that your boat is properly prepared before launching.  We really don’t want to create problems for the emergency services.

Look forward to seeing some of you Thursday nighters back on the water, we will keep an eye on the conditions, but hopefully would like to start this Thursday.
Could you please email pbsctrainingadmin@pbsc.org.uk to show an interest, and check your emails on the day for any update.
