Last weekend’s sailing (27/28 April)

A busy weekend at the club . Saturday saw a few of us free sailing and in the afternoon the Sharks furiously rounding the cans until the wind dropped and they struggled to make headway against a strong tide.  In the evening we enjoyed our skool disco that morphed into an extensive karoke session. Sunday was a beautiful sunny day with light winds in the morning but built to a F4 by lunchtime and cost a laser its mast. We had 11 racers and a few free sailors and windsurfers.  The club house was busy with our new caterers proving a sumptuous roast pork Sunday lunch. Next weekend is bank holiday weekend and we have a full calendar including the start of the Saturday evening series at 5pm. Come and camp on the field if you are the hardy type!
